"Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, inspire me and I will learn." - Benjamin Franklin

From April 15th to 17th, 2025, science students from Class S7 visited Hindu College, Delhi University, as part of an outreach program under the DBT Star College Scheme. The three-day program allowed students to perform advanced experiments in Botany, Zoology, Physics, and Chemistry. On the first day, students explored Green Chemistry, learning about sustainable practices and preparing aloe vera soap through saponification using natural ingredients. The second day focused on Optics and Electromagnetism, where students conducted diffraction experiments and plotted a B-H curve using a Cathode Ray Oscilloscope (CRO). On the final day, students performed Gram staining on Lactobacillus and conducted diagnostic tests in Zoology, including haemoglobin estimation, ABO blood group determination, and microscopic observation of blood samples. This hands-on experience deepened their understanding of scientific concepts and enhanced their practical laboratory skills. The program was an enriching experience for the students, inspiring them to pursue scientific inquiry with greater enthusiasm and curiosity.
