May 11, 2019 was a special day in the history of `The Modern School, ECNCR as the management, staff, students and parents gathered to witness the red letter day that is the inauguration of the senior school hostel and expansion of the skating rink.

The momentous occasion was celebrated with enthusiasm and elation especially by the students as they were eager The inauguration ceremony was graced by Sh. Ashok Pratap Singh, Sr. Member Board of Trustees,Modern School .

The hostel nestled in lush green environment with state of the art infrastructure has smart rooms with separate wings for boys and girls. Sh. Ashok Pratap Singh, Modern School, Barakhamba inaugurated the hostel , Ms. Ambika Pant, Honorary Secretary, Modern School laid the foundation of the new academic block.

The inauguration was followed by rendition of Saraswati Vandana by the talented young dancers. All the guests were given an overview of the hostel and the ceremony culminated with a sumptuous lunch.
