“Debating is not about being right, it's about being effective."

Showcasing the intellectual prowess and oratory skills, students from classes S4-S7 participated in the Inter House English Debate Competition on July 24, 2024.

The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from all four houses , Himalaya, Himachal, Shiwalik and Vindhyachal each debating on ‘Will AI lead to mass unemployment ‘.

The competition was marked by intense yet respectful exchanges among the participants. Students demonstrated their ability to think critically, construct coherent arguments, and respond effectively . An esteemed panel of judges comprising faculty members evaluated the participants based on content, delivery, rebuttals, and overall impact of their arguments. Results are as follows:

Debate concluded with the pearls of wisdom of the school Principal ,Mr Rajiv K Srivastava, enlightening the students about the future of AI and the importance of its knowledge.

The competition truly encouraged the students to broaden their perspectives and enhance their communication skills.
