Inter - House English Debate Competition was organised in The Modern School ,ECNCR on July 17,2019 on the topic "Women Reservation: A necessity for Women Empowerment" Students from classes S4-S7 enthusiastically participated in the competition presenting their views and beliefs for and against the motion.

The topic helped the students to churn their mind and enhanced their approach. Debate was made even more interesting with the group discussion done with the audience giving an equal opportunity to all students to participate and share their views.

Awareness and confidence of the participants were judged through interjection. Dyuthi Kathuria (for the motion) and Rudraksh Sachin Joshi (against the motion) of class S5 were declared as Best Speakers followed by Shiwalik House as the Winning house. The Principal, Ms. Abha Sadana and Headmistress, Ms. Rimpy Verma congratulated the winners and lauded the efforts of all the participants.
