Debate competition extends an opportunity for students to structure as well as organise their thoughts on a topic and express confidently. It enables them to state their opinion and ideas thus strengthening language skills. Modernities from classes S4 and S6 participated in an Inter House English Debate Competition on December 14, 2021 expressing themselves on the topic ‘Does online education do more good than harm?’. The competition acknowledged the  participants' drive to learn and compete during these challenging times. The participants expressed themselves confidently and eloquently. The online competition’s experience guided the participants to enhance their oratory skills and expressions.
