A debate makes students learn the nuances of debating, putting forth their viewpoints self-assuredly and gain boundless knowledge.

The National Behes Debate competition was conducted from May 23, 2020 to May 24, 2020 via Zoom Cloud Meeting. Three students from The Modern School, ECNCR , Devanshi Dibya (S6) DhruvSoni (S4) DhruvBansal (S5) participated in the aforementioned competition. The Behes theme for the session was ‘The Power of Yes.’ The Modern Wizards with their utmost confidence and oration successfully cleared three rounds of day 1. It was a novel experience for all the participants to compete with candidates from all over North India. Each participant put forward their arguments with great aplomb. Dhruv Soni was placed in the top 40 debaters out of 200 speakers.
