An Inter School Online Friendly Chess Tournament- 2020 was organised by the school on October 10, 2020 to commemorate the spirit of Sports as a part of the Centenary year celebrations of Modern School. 300 players from more than 22 schools across the country participated in the event. The games were played online through Lichess, a free open source site. The players were awarded points as per their performance in each game. Many internationally renowned players were a part of the event, wherein 9 rounds and more than 1100 games were played. The participants played with great zest and excitement eager to play every round and win
