The Interact Club of The Modern School, ECNCR organised a workshop for the students of classes S1 to S7 conducted by Sewa Bharti, Delhi on September 19, 2020.

Sewa Bharti, Delhi is an NGO that works among the economically weaker sections of Indian society, including tribal and indigenous communities, urban slum dwellers and resettlement colonies (Sewa Bastis).

The aim of the workshop was to inspire young modernites to contribute towards society by actively participating in community service through the programme initiated by Sewa Bharti for teens, ‘Teens 4 Sewa’ to ignite young minds.

The programme strives to engage students willing to serve in community service, raising social sensitivity among teenagers empowering them to make a difference in the society as well as helping them to develop leadership skills.

The resource person, Mr.Vipin introduced four projects under this programme: Buddy, Hobby, Story Telling and Book Bank. Each project was explained in detail and the students were motivated to register for the programme thus taking a step forward to make this world a better place.
