The students of classes P3-P5 from Himachal House conducted a special assembly on Labour’s Day on May 1, 2023, in the Junior Assembly Hall.
International Worker’s Day, also known as International Labour Day is celebrated on 1stMay every year all over the world, to acknowledge the incredible contributions of all the workers and to express gratitude for their tireless efforts, which greatly add to the upliftment and growth of the nation. The main objective of the celebration was to teach the students the value and dignity of labour. The assembly highlighted the significance of respecting everyone for their valuable contributions. 
The students expressed their gratitude to their community helpers like firefighters, nurses guardsmen, police officers, teachers etc, through role plays and presentations. 
Through the assembly, the tiny tots learnt to be thankful and show gratitude to all the people who help them to make their life easy and better.
