The Intra-Class English Picture Description Competition for students from P4 to S3 was successfully conducted on 16 May 25 with enthusiastic participation across all levels.The event aimed to develop students’ speaking skills, creativity, and critical thinking through visual prompts.

Participants described pictures based on themes such as Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), environmental issues, and social concerns.

Judgment was based on four criteria:

Clarity of Expression

Vocabulary and Language Use

Creativity and Imagination

Confidence and Delivery

Many students creatively addressed topics like climate change, education, and inequality, impressing judges with their thoughtful interpretations and confident delivery.

The competition provided a valuable platform for students to express ideas, enhance language proficiency, and build public speaking confidence. It was a rewarding experience that combined language learning with critical thinking and global awareness.
