The students of Himachal House presented a special assembly on the occasion of Lohri and Makar Sakranti on December 31, 2021. The celebrations began with a prayer of gratitude to the Lord Almighty followed by a talk by S3 students highlighting the significance of Makar Sakranti and Lohri. An educational power point presentation was explained to make the students aware about the historical importance of festivals celebrated all across India. The folk dance, gidda performed by the senior students was a joyous spectacle  that spread cheer and happiness. Their traditional attires and the music brought the festive spirit alive in the audience as all prepared to usher in the new year.
