The Modern School, ECNCR conducted a Mock Drill on February 4, 2020 to create awareness among the students about the most common Natural Disaster -Earthquake and its management.

Students were equipped with the knowledge and skills about what to do in case of a natural disaster (Earthquake). A hooter sound blurted for 3 minutes for indication. Students were equipped and trained to handle the natural disaster while trying to protect their lives.

On the second buzz of the hooter, students were immediately escorted by their subject teachers to the sports ground. Keeping all the safety measures in mind and carrying them out methodically, the building was successfully cleared within a span of 4 minutes.Teachers ensured the presence of their students by taking attendance in the ground.

The Principal, Ms. Abha Sadana addressed the students and advised them to follow the instructions given to them and not to panic in case of any disaster. The drill was carried out smoothly and effectively.
