The pre- primary students of The Modern School, ECNCR celebrated World Disability Day on December 3, 2018. The day marked the celebration of the abilities of people, with disabilities across the world. During the special assembly, the students in particular were made aware of the problems faced by the disabled ,who try to lead a dignified and empowered life. The sensitivity that world ought to offer to them by treating them equally was highlighted. It was further discussed that the encouragement these people derived from positivity was their driving force. A heartwarming story was depicted by the teachers to sensitize the little ones to the people with disabilities and their struggles in life. They were encouraged to love and respect those people and treat them equally.
