Students of classes Nur-P2  celebrated Republic Day Week from January 17, 2022, to January 21, 2022, during an online zoom session. The students didn’t leave any stone unturned in making this monumental day a memorable one as they highlighted the significance of the day. This was a special moment for all them and a great learning experience too. They learned about the importance of freedom and India being a democratic country. Different activities were held during this week:-

A PowerPoint presentation on 'Incredible India' showing the culture and heritage of different states of India was explained focusing regions in a particular direction per day viz  North, South, East, West. 

On Day 2, students indulged in non-fire cooking activity as Nursery and KG  students made delicious Tri-coloured Fruit salad and P1 made a Tri-coloured sandwich using different vegetables.  P2 students made a delicious India Gate sandwich by using different sauces available in the kitchen. 

A Flashcard Activity enhanced their speaking skills and gave them insights about their national symbols on the third day.  Nur-KG students also created a tri-colored kite and a peacock whereas students of P1-P2 made a Tri-colored butterfly. 

A special Assembly on Republic Day has held the next day wherein students performed enthusiastically as they represented different states in their regional attires as well as showcased Tableaux presentations.

On day 5, the students dressed up as their favorite state in classes Nur-KG and favorite freedom fighter in classes P1-P2 as they spoke a few lines about the same and enjoyed singing patriotic songs with the class teacher. 

The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity. The students also highlighted the significance of the day. Everyone reveled in the happy festive vibes. The 73rd Republic Day celebration culminated with the national anthem. It was an enriching learning experience for our young modernites.
