Seasons Week (Nur-P2)
Seasons change throughout the year because of the way the Earth moves. To teach our children about the importance of seasons, the students of Classes Nursery-P2 celebrated 'Seasons Week' from July 8-12, 2024 with great zeal and enthusiasm.
Day 1 was celebrated as the season of blooming Spring. Our tiny tots went outdoors to see flowers, chirping birds, trees and were indulged in a craft activity where they made a bookmark using flowers.
Day 2 marked the celebration of Summer Fling. Our young modernites were briefed about clothes we wear, food we eat in summer season, followed by a fun and frolic 'Mango Party' where each child relished drinking frooti, eating mangoes with their classmates.
Day 3 was celebrated as Rainy Season (Drip, Drop, Rain, Rain ) . Our young minds did hands-on activities and experiments to understand how rain comes.
Day 4 was dedicated to the Autumn season (Changing Colours) . Our budding artists made beautiful crafts using crumbled paper to make maple leaves , headgear using maple leaves, thumb printing to create an autumn season art work.
Day 5 was celebrated as the Winter Season. Our tiny tots were indulged in craft activity where they made snowmen and a winter season drawing.
The week culminated with a special assembly on seasons. The hall reverberated with the outstanding talent of the students. The entire week included a plethora of activities, giving hands on experience to our young modernites to learn about different seasons.
