On July 10, 2025, The Modern School, ECNCR, celebrated Shades of Yellow Day with great enthusiasm and vigor from the Pre-primary kids. The event transformed the day into a fusion of enjoyment, color discovery, and emotional awareness. It was not only aesthetically pleasing but also filled with worthwhile educational opportunities. With their radiant smiles and sunny charm, children in mustard, lemon, and golden yellow outfits lit up the classroom.

The day's highlights include: In a practical color-mixing exercise, kids investigated how various hues could be blended to create hues that were similar to yellow. The life cycle of a honeybee was the subject of a unique narrative as part of the theme integration. Youngsters were taught about the bee's life stages, including egg, larva, pupa, and adult. The interactive display added enjoyment and education to the session. Emotion Station: A special Emotion Station was prepared where kids could indicate various feelings, such as joy, excitement, surprise, and serenity, by pointing at yellow smiley faces. Finally, 'Shades of Yellow Day' was a beautiful blend of education, color exploration, creativity, and emotional growth.
