To mark the triumph of good over evil and celebrate Lord Rama’s victory over Ravana, a special assembly was conducted on October 15, 2018 to celebrate the religious festival- Dussehra. The assembly started with the morning prayer, news, and talk on the festival followed by thought of the day –Victory of good over evil’ .The Students were spellbound by the dance and dance drama presented by the tiny tots on the history of Lord Rama. All the characters of the great epic ‘Ramayana’ came alive in their colourful attires on stage. The celebration ignited the young minds and reiterated the message that Dussehra epitomizes victory of good over evil. The burning of the effigy of Ravana in the evening symbolized the same. The inspiring qualities of Ravana who was a great scholar and devotee of Lord were also discussed in detail. Students resolved to shun one bad habit of theirs and mark it as the destruction of evil.
