The month of December brings a lot of warmth, hope and glad tidings. To spread the message of love and good cheer, the students of Himalaya House presented a spectacular assembly on December 23, 2022 on the occasion of the most loved and celebrated festival, Christmas.

The students presented an array of magnificent performances. The school echoed with Christmas carols and holy hymns sung melodiously by the students of class P1 ushering in the festive season. The message of love was further described by a Christmas carol sung by  class P4.

As true to every celebration, there were three dance performances by the students of Nursery, KG, P2 and P4. The children danced to perfection enthralling the audience with their rhythm and perfect coordination.

The shimmering props added more beauty to the little ones and the grand entry of little Santa Claus with his guitar moving to the beat and distributing candies was everyone’s delight.

The students of class P4 presented a thought - provoking skit which emphasised that Christmas was more than just Santa, cards, toys or gifts under the Christmas tree. The skit brought forth the true meaning of the Yuletide spirit which lay in the joy of giving and helping those who are less fortunate.

The highlight of the assembly was the dance performance by special students of Renu Vidya Mandir
Vocational School, Bahalgarh,  Sonipat who visited our school. Their awe inspiring dance performance left the audience stunned, highlighting that nothing in the world is impossible.

The performances concluded with a beautiful song. The assembly culminated with the felicitation of the Football Team of the school  for winning first position in the 17th Delhi State Football Championship 2022 . The message of the assembly was to embrace the spirit of Christmas by bringing joy and happiness into someone’s life.
