Special Assembly on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr was organised by the students of Himalaya House from classes P3-S4 on April 17, 2023 in the school premises. To mark the importance of this festival, a talk was presented to enlighten the students about the spirit of festival, symbolising the unity of an international community. Students presented a short skit highlighting the significance of the day.  A PowerPoint Presentation was also presented showcasing how Eid brings a lot of happiness in everyone’s lives and serves as a reward to people who fast for the whole month.

The honourable Principal , Mr.Rajiv K Shrivastava discussed about the importance of fasting by encouraging the children to respect each other’s tradition and cultural beliefs and develop respect and understanding for each other’s customs and traditions.The celebration of Eid was an endeavour to inculcate in the children the true spirit of religious tolerance and secularism.
