Stream selection is a vital milestone in the decision making process regarding one's career but a tough one to decide upon due to many factors.
It is important for a student to understand himself/herself better in terms of aptitude and inclination to choose wisely.

A 'Stream selection' webinar was organised for the students of classes S5 and S6 on May 26,2022 to give them an insight in how to select streams as well as how a stream is never a barrier in success.
The guest speaker, Mr. Praveen Khanna - Government certified Business Communication Specialist and a Certified Training & Development Manager at PRATHAM – a unit of International Institute of Financial Markets (IIFM) threw light on how a student must be equipped to take a wise decision regarding selecting a stream.
He spoke at length about Industry 4.0- Technological pillars i.e. how technology will play a huge role in whatever career students will plan to embark upon in the future.
13 high paying skills - 'top skills in demand in future'  were then highlighted and discussed.
He further emphasised upon the multifarious skills required in 2025 and beyond irrespective of the stream chosen by a student.
The spokesperson urged the learners to understand their orientation style, find their interest, uncover their personality, take up a subject they can learn as well as get in touch with their emotional intelligence to decide upon a future career.
Students were apprised of the fact that a stream is never a barrier in success, in fact, one must choose a career as per their aptitude and interest , then choose the stream mirroring the same.
He also discussed in detail about some stream neutral options like graphic designing, image management, content writing, digital marketing, e- sports and investment banking. 
The inquisitive queries of the students were taken up and well explained during the question - answer session.
The webinar enlightened the youth on how to embark upon this new journey and provided ample tools to make this important decision of life smooth and less tedious.
