The Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, New Delhi organised a summer internship programme for the psychology students of classes XI and XII from June 10, 2019 to June 15, 2019. The students of The Modern School, ECNCR also participated in the event. Many students from various schools of New Delhi and NCR region were a part of the event for one hour each day. The programme offered a vivid experience of the psychology field as it consisted of various activities which the students performed in order to learn more about the field of psychology for their future and career purpose. Sessions about psychological disorders and psychological interview provided students an overview of the interesting subject. The students also got the chance to socialize with other students with similar interests. The internship catered to the contextual and theoretical psychological information that a student requires to understand the subject. Activities like preparing a project in order to break the stigma of mental health, writing poems and articles, making posters were remarkable experiences for all to show their creativity. The students got a platform to present their own thoughts about psychology and the people suffering from disorders.

The internship was a fun way of learning and helped the students to evaluate their interest in the field and was a stupendous experience for all.
