The Modern School, ECNCR organized a Tree Plantation Drive on July 28, 2018 in the school premises. The students of classes Nursery and KG along with the Environment Sustainability Club members participated in this drive. The primary objective of the drive was to create social awareness among students about the importance of tree plantation. The children were excited given an opportunity to sow seeds of coriander herb with the help of a gardener. Getting their hands in mud, digging hole and sowing seeds gave them a unique and memorable experience. All the tiny tots were keen, enthusiastic and bustling with excitement to perform the activity.

The students of KG immensely enjoyed their activity of making 3D trees as part of takeaway activity. The blooming birds presented a rhyme on trees in the class assembly. The children also chanted the slogans Save Tree and Go Green and learned the importance of trees in our life.
