The Modern School, ECNCR hosted an Inter-school block-level cricket tournament on July 22, 2019. 5 teams of Rai block participated in the tournament namely Golden Harrier School, DPS, Khewra, R.K. Memorial Public School and The Modern School, ECNCR.

The first match was played between The Modern School, ECNCR and Golden Harrier Public School. While playing first, The Modern School made 48 runs in 8 overs and while bowling, The Modern School restricted Golden Harrier School to only 17 runs. While batting, Akshaj Jain made 12 runs in 15 balls and Aditya Rathi made 16 runs in 16 balls. Akshaj Jain got 4 wickets in 2 overs for just 3 runs and Gautam Bansal got 3 wickets in 2 overs. The Modern School won the match by 31 runs.

The semi-final and second match was played between The Modern School and R.K. Memorial Public School in which The Modern School won by 27 runs. While batting first, The Modern School made 42 runs in 5 overs in which Laksh Narang made 21 runs and Aditya Rathi made 22 runs. Vedant Chhabra took 3 wickets.

The final match was played between The Modern School and DPS, Khewra in which DPS Khewra won by 19 runs. While batting first, DPS made 56 runs in 6 overs and restricted The Modern school to 37 runs in which Laksh Narang made 12 runs and Akshaj Jain took 2 wickets.

The Modern School, ECNCR won the second in Rai Block level out of five teams.The tournament witnessed some great performances and gave the budding cricketers to showcase their skill and talent.
