Mountains have always been fascinating for everyone, so was the case for the students of class P5 on July 30, 2021, during their virtual excursion where they were taken to explore the ‘Hill Stations of India’.

India has abundant hill stations spread all over the country. The tranquil and picturesque destinations are blissful. The students visited some of the most famous destinations in Kashmir which include Pahalgam, Gulmarg, Srinagar and Sonmarg. In Himachal Pradesh, the students virtually experienced the hill stations like Shimla- The Summer Capital of India, Manali and Dalhousie. The Adventure sports at these places were another add-ons. Nestled in between the snow-capped slopes of the Himalayan ranges, the places with jaw-dropping views, lush green forests, sprawling meadows carpeted with flowers, gushing blue streams, a perpetual fairy-tale like mist lingering in the air and the persistent fragrance of pines and freshness, left everyone awestruck.

The students were elated to share their own experiences of the hills. Such excursions not only prompt the students to put on their thinking caps but also help enhance their perspective, to admire the beauty of nature.
