Virtual Excursion -Underwater P5
June 5, 2021 was a day filled with fun and frolic for the students of class P5 as they were taken on a virtual excursion to experience 'The Underwater World'.
The students plunged into an enthralling experience of coral reefs, under water lost cities, aquatic life and plants. That gave them the opportunity to know more about the underwater life that remains unexplored most of the time. The jaw-dropping pictures of the marine life like blue whale, lion mane's jellyfish, sperm whale, whale shark and basking shark were captivating and mesmerising . While witnessing the life underwater, students discussed about the plants and coral reefs that survive underwater and how they play a vital role in maintaining an ecological balance. They are a complex city of life forms where many types of fish and life co-exist. They also experienced how human activities could affect those sea creatures. Short stories based on the lost cities were also shown and narrated to the students.
The experience left everyone breathless as they witnessed the 360 degree version of the underwater world which was truly an eventful experience.
