The Modern School, ECNCR Delhi organised a virtual tour for class P4 to Jaipur - The Pink City, an extremely popular tourist destination in Rajasthan on July 31, 2020.

The main purpose of the activity was to reduce the stress of being in front of screen for studies only. The virtual tour further added to the knowledge about the culture, tradition, monuments, markets, food and dresses of the city. The students were enriched with the facts that Jaipur is one of the most vibrant and colorful cities of India, famous for its beautiful culture, its ancient forts, palaces and lakes.

They visited the iconic places in Jaipur like Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal, Nahargarh fort, Jaigarh fort, Amer fort and many more. It was an educational as well as an entertaining activity for them. It sparked their imagination and enlightened them with the historical importance of the place. They also learned the Rajasthani phrase ‘Khammaghani’ used for greeting .They were enthralled as well as excited during the tour.

The culture of Jaipur facilitated them with a holistic view of not only Rajasthan but also with the culture of India.
