The Modern School, ECNCR Visit Goonj(26-04-19) Keeping the idea of 'Education for All' Interact club of The Modern School, ECNCR took initiative to motivate all for the donation of books and another student related material. Students enthusiastically contributed and packed the stalk of donated items to deliver in 'Goonj'.

The visit was organized on 26-04-19 for the representatives from different classes to deliver the donation and learn about the actual process of recycling and making it reuse at Goonj processing unit. Students learned how 'Goonj' is beautifully turning the discarded and underutilized material of urban areas into a tool for survival of underprivileged people. Students representatives enthusiastically interacted with the volunteers and it prompted the feeling of being a part of social work to make life better for all. One of the representatives preferred to share his birthday sweets with the volunteers and spread smile on the faces. The visit was all together with full of learning and students got the sense of how small contribution can bring life for underprivileged.
