The students of class S3 visited Hindustan Times Press, Noida on October 28, 2017. The purpose of the visit was not only to develop interest in reading newspaper but also to acquaint them with the functioning of Press. Students met various people associated with the printing of a newspaper. They in particular learned about CTP (Computer to Print technology) which is the latest in the printing industry that uses aluminum sheets for printing. The industrial visit was a wonderful experience for the students who were curious to see how the newspapers they read every day were printed in the six machine towers present in the press. The realisation of the responsibility each member shouldered in the press truly dawned on them and they gained in depth understanding of the working of a printing press.
