‘We have more to learn from animals than animals have to learn from us.’

The Modern School, ECNCR organized an educational trip to the ‘National Zoological Park’ for the students of classes Nursery to P3 on March 6, 2018.

National Zoological Park has a large number of different kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and snakes, which are kept in cages and are most carefully looked after. All the students were extremely excited as the zoo provided the students hands on experience of what they learn about flora and fauna in their respective classes. The tiny tots enjoyed monkeys chattering, lions roaring, birds chirping, zebras and deer running behind fences. The teachers guided them and shared various vital facts about the animals they saw in the zoo.

The last lap of the trip was lying on the dry grass, enjoying soothing sunlight and having lunch. It was an enriching experience and the children felt that they visited a new world. It was a place of great recreation and learning.
