The Modern School, ECNCR organized an educational excursion for the students of classes P2 and P3 to National Rail Museum, New Delhi on March 20, 2019. With the sun shining bright and the energy levels high, the students set off to explore the journey of train engines and coaches. The students were surprised to see the development of coaches from the British to the Modern Era. They were explained as to how the engines evolved- from steam to electric. They were excited to see the introduction of the Bullet Train in India.

The kids then enjoyed a joy ride in the train where they passed by all kinds of engines and coaches. The kids learned about the evolution of the trains and the tracks over the years and were impressed by the progress that Indian Railways had made in the years.
