On April 9, 2019, Dhriti Garg and Parul Bhola of class S6 C from The Modern School, ECNCR visited the esteemed World University of Design- India's first and only university dedicated to education in the creative domain. The students toured the campus and observed the primary workshops of fashion designing, architecture survey and non-metal moulding along with the digital library and various galleries which displayed the magnificent works of the students.

While at the campus, the students got the opportunity to attend the Business Plan Competition ’19. It was the first National Level Business Plan Competition organised in association with Startup India- the flagship scheme of the Government of India to promote entrepreneurship. The competition aimed to stimulate the young minds to think creatively and work towards innovative business ideas in the most promising segments such as Food, Sports and Agribusiness.

It was an enlightening and enriching experience for the students as they were able to witness the display of immense talent in the making and presentation of a business plan. The students also became aware about the various management courses and career options in the field of designing which will help them in the choosing a career path for themselves as they are embarking upon their own journey of building their lives.
