ENO Green Cities organised a webinar on climate change and sustainable development for schools on April 21,2023.Educators and students from various schools from India and around the world attended the online webinar that was conducted on the Zoom platform and covered the benefits of sustainability, the impact of climate change, and what schools can do to promote sustainability.

Anshika Agarwal and Garvit Mundra from class S3 -A, Siddhant and Akshuna from class S2-A along with the Principal,  Mr. Rajiv Kumar Shrivastava participated in this webinar. 

The speaker explained that sustainable development can help to conserve resources, reduce waste, and promote social and economic well-being. She also discussed how climate change is causing more frequent and severe weather events, affecting biodiversity, food security and human health. 

The speaker provided several examples of actions that schools can take to promote sustainability, such as reducing energy consumption, promoting sustainable transportation, and implementing waste reduction and recycling programmes. 

The participants were engaged and shared their own ideas for promoting sustainability in their school and community. 

The webinar provided a great opportunity for students and educators from around the world to learn from each other and collaborate on creating a more sustainable future.
