The Modern School, ECNCR in collaboration with Ashoka University conducted a webinar on September 17, 2021 to give a comprehensive idea to the students of class S6 and S7 about the undergraduate programmes at the university. Through this webinar on 'Liberal Education', the speakers, Ms. Harshita Puri and Mr. Shaurya Cheema, Deputy Manager of Outreach Operations for Ashoka University aimed to make the learners understand the meaning of liberal education, its Indian context and relevance in the real world.

 The speakers spoke at length about the New Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020) and how vital a role Liberal Education plays in a holistic education for the students. They also discussed about the programmes offered, admission criteria and financial aid provided by the university. Along with Mr. Cheema, Vanshika Malik, a student of the university, also stipulated the advantages of getting enrolled in the courses offered by the university.

The session was informative as well as interactive as it gave an insightful view regarding liberal education in India.
