Students of classes Nur-P2 celebrated 'Week of Festivities' from August 8,2022 to August 18,2022.
This tradition of week celebration brings a drastic change in the students as they portray the qualities of leadership, team work, cooperation, confidence,hard work and social spirit. On day 1, students had a special assembly on Muharram and Raksha Bandhan. Himalaya house students performed in the assembly and shared their thoughts about the festival and students of classes Nursery-KG enjoyed making crafts on Muharram.

On day 2,  a rakhi making activity was organised wherein students made beautiful Rakhis using different articles like silk thread and ribbon etc. Their artisanship was quite fascinating and they thoroughly enjoyed this activity that tickled their creative side.
They let their creative juices flow through an Independence Day craft activity on the third day in which students of classes Nursery-KG made tri coloured caps and students of classes P1-P2 prepared the national flag using different pulses and grains like- green gram,
red lentils and rice etc. 

On day 4, a Janmashtami craft activity was created by  Nursery-KG students as they painted and decorated matkis of Lord Krishna.  Students of classes P1-P2 made a peacock feather leaf. Janmashtami rehearsals took place on day 5 as the bubbling modernities were all set to give their performance in front of the parents.

Spectacular Janmashtami celebrations were held on August 18 to culminate the festivities week. The week truly reflected the spirit of joyfulness, patriotism and festivity.
