“A new school year means new beginnings, new adventures, new friendships, and new challenges.’’

The Modern School ECNCR began the new academic session (2024-25) on April 3, 2024 with great enthusiasm. Welcome Assembly was conducted by the students of Vindhyachal House.

The assembly started with a prayer soulfully sung by a school choir group. It was followed by a motivational thought by Diya Malik of P5C which highlighted the importance of a new beginning. News for the day was presented by Roneeka Goel of S3 B. It was followed by talk presented by Barminder kaur of S3 A. It highlighted the importance of cherishable experiences and learning of the last academic session and power within us to meet the challenges of the future.

Arsh Narang of P5 C presented the poem ‘My Promise’ reiterating the duties and responsibilities of children. Fitness sessions for all the students were also conducted to engage them in physical activities and to motivate them to stay fit.

The honourable Principal Sir addressed the assembly and welcomed the children. He motivated children to make the optimum use of the opportunities provided by the school in the coming academic session for their all round development.

The assembly concluded with the National Anthem.This welcome assembly gave away the message of encouragement, motivation, and positivity to inspire students to strive for success in the new academic year.
