Students from The Modern School, ECNCR participated in a one-day Exploratory Workshop on Green Buildings and Sustainable Habitat at Panchsheel Balak Inter College, Noida on July 27, 2024. It was followed by a site visit to Mud Hut, Greater Noida. 

The workshop aimed to educate participants of various ages about the concept and practices of green buildings through learning modules, presentations, and demonstration activities. Its goal was to empower individuals to make eco-friendly choices, foster connections among participants, share knowledge, collaborate, and drive change. Students from Shri Ram Universal School and Panchsheel Balak Inter College also attended the workshop. Dr. Priyanka Kochhar engaged with the students on climate change conditions and green buildings, followed by a question-and-answer session. The event concluded with insightful remarks from Mr. Rajiv Srivastava, Principal of The Modern School, ECNCR, and Dr. J.K. Singh, Principal of Shri Ram Universal School and Director of Act Now. Overall, the event was educational and informative for the students.
