Soft Skills are those personal attributes that enable someone to interact effectively and harmoniously with other people. The Modern School, ECNCR, organised a 5 day workshop for classes P4-S7, wherein students learned important aspects of goal settings, time management and many more.

The resource person Ms. Roshi Kapoor explained the students about Goal setting which helped the students understand ‘SMART’ goal setting. The students were explained the importance of time management through Steven Covey’s Time Management Matrix. Importance of Body Language was also taught to our students through an activity which showed DO’S and DON’T of different body gestures. The fact that good communication is a base for an effective working was reiterated by the resource person.

The workshop was concluded with an important lesson on ‘Image Inside Out’, teaching students how Self Esteem plays an important part in one’s life journey. The workshop gave the students a whole new horizon for brain storming for their future endeavors as undoubtedly, students of today are the future employers and employees of profitable global businesses.
