Workshop- Use of Artificial Intelligence in Classrooms
A Capacity Building Workshop on the Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Classrooms was held on October 25, 2025, with the objective of familiarizing teachers with the concepts, applications, and significance of AI in education.
The first session was conducted by Mr. Sushil Kumar, Assistant Professor, Shyam Lal College, University of Delhi. He introduced participants to the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence, discussed its three main types, and highlighted its growing relevance in modern classrooms. Mr. Kumar also engaged teachers in an interactive discussion on the AI tools they are already using in their teaching practices.
The second session was led by Ms. Punam Nardiya, representative from the Microsoft Aspire School Program. She demonstrated a range of AI-based educational applications and guided teachers through a hands-on learning experience, encouraging them to explore and experiment with these tools on their own devices.
Overall, the workshop proved to be informative, engaging, and interactive, equipping teachers with practical insights into effectively integrating AI tools to enhance teaching and learning in classrooms.
