On 13th July, 2018, the students of Himachal House presented a special assembly on World Population Day, an awareness campaign initiated by UNDP. The theme of 2018 is “Family Planning is a Human Right”. Through talk and PowerPoint Presentation, the students enlightened the assembly about the purpose behind celebrating World Population Day and made everyone aware about the increasing health problems and also apprised everyone of the fact that resources are being depleted at a rapid pace due to increasing demands of the growing population. The students from class S1 to S6 were acquainted with the theme of ‘Family Planning as a Human Right’

Ms. Rimpy Verma the honourable Headmistress emphasised on the need to curb population for the future generations to relish the available resources.
